5 Stars Excellent resource
This book is a must have for planning down in Florida. The only downside is that by the time the trip comes, half the book has been used. It is a relatively large book but the key stuff to carry with you is in rip out sheets at the end.

5 Stars Unofficial Guide Walt Disney World 2009
The detail in the Unoffical Guides is always great. It’s important to get the most recent Guide before your trip so that you aren’t getting outdated information. The helpful hints are invaluable. If you haven’t done Disney World before and/or haven’t read one of the these Unofficial Guides before, the amount of information and detail can be overwhelming, but plow through it bit by bit because it’s worth it.

5 Stars Unofficial Review of the Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World
One can’t contemplate an assault on America’s favorite theme park without a guide, and this unbelievably comprehensive tome is the way to go. Walt Disney World can be an overwhelming place and the book was our not so secret weapon to bring order to the process. Our mistake was ordering it too close to the trip, as it was impossible to absorb the mountain of good info in less than two weeks, so we used it at the park itself constantly, which was invaluable. It is fairly easy to index and we found it to be quite accurate…though it was always the heaviest item in our backpack outside of the geodes and agates (rocks) the kids just had to buy at EPCOT :-)

One of the most valuable parts were the opinions of previous visitors on everything from “which park was our favorite” all the way down to individual reviews of every ride, restaurant, activity, tour plans, etc. It is very balanced in that regard. You can still maintain some sense of spontaneity and not treat each day as an amphibious landing on a hostile beachhead, but the short cuts and hints the book suggest can make life much easier. Once we were reminded of that age old military adage that “no plan survives first contact with the enemy” we used the book constantly to update and change our focus based on time, weather, etc. We had a fantastic time, and the book helped ensure that would happen.

5 Stars Touring Plans are a must!
I just returned from Disney World after using this book. It has a lot of great tips, but the best part are the Touring Plans and when you buy the book you can get access to their online touring plans. We followed the Magic Kingdom plan to the tee on a busy Sunday and were able to see everything that we wanted! Definately worth it!

5 Stars The Unofficial Guide Walt Disney World 2009
This is a highly recommended resource for anyone going to Disney! Has tons of valuable information to help with trip planning. I got the 2006 version for our last trip (which help immensely too) then saw how much more was added to this years version and had to get a new copy. The book is more than double the size of our 06 book!

5 Stars Fun for everyone
We love all Karen Katz books! My daughter has me read them over and over, and even though she is almost 4, she still enjoys them. She also “reads” them to me, and she thinks it is hilarious when I pretend not to know what is behind all the flaps. We have a book for every occasion!

5 Stars A must-have for children who like flap books!
Very nicely done - colorful pictures on each page. A wonderful book for the Easter or spring season.

4 Stars Very Cute for Easter
I bought this book for my 2 year-old twins, and they really like it. They also have Where Is Baby? which they love. What I like about it is that it’s not about religion—it’s purely about eggs, hats, chicks, baskets and bunnies, which is all a 2 year old needs to hear about now.

4 Stars Flap books are very engaging for toddlers
Karen Katz is whiz when it comes to entertaining babies and toddlers. The writing is short and simple enough for a child to follow, my 16 month old daughther loves to lift the flap (which is sturdy and has lasted through several toddler attacks) and discover whatever we are looking for and while I read the short text she doesn’t have to wait too long and can easliy understand it. The shiny and colorful pictures keep her interest and she learns new vocabulary as we look for easter eggs and point at what we find. I have several of Katz’s books and they are an excellent way at teaching body parts and new words. I recommend these lift the flap books for any toddler.

Every map, photo, chart, illustration, and worksheet is in full color, with additional use of color to highlight important points, such as items that are new or have changed since the publication of the previous edition.

5 Stars Great Guide!
I bought this on a recommendation–and I loved it! Very informative and helpful to navigate the Disney parks and food options!

5 Stars Great Guide and Keepsake
This is one must-have for Disney Vacation Planning. Its got a wonderful way of listing all the attractions and reviews. The maps could be slightly better though..a little bit bigger maybe.

The Yellow journal pages are great and the pockets to keep tidbits is a brilliant idea… especially for someone like me who likes to save every tiny scrap of memory.

4 Stars Great for Out-Of-Staters
This would be a great first-time planning guide for families from out-of-state who are making Disney World their vacation destination, and are planning on spending the majority of their time on Disney property. Great for planning an itinerary and budget, right down to accommodations and meal planning. Has lots of little pockets for storing tickets, reservation confirmations and receipts. I don’t think Florida residents who have been to WDW multiple times would find this book very useful.

5 Stars love it
This is my 10th issue of Passporter & I love them. They have everything you could want in a planner & it makes a great reminder of your trip. I’ve even purchased a couple as gifts.

5 Stars Great travel planner
This organizer/planner has been a tremendous asset in planning a family trip to Walt Disney World.

There are plenty of places to write your information and pockets to hold any papers or passes that you might need.

The information is well organized and very helpful. I do not hesitate to recommend this product.

Birnbaums Walt Disney World For Kids 2009 Birnbaums Walt Disney World for Kids By Kids

Children are perhaps Walt Disney World’s biggest fans. On playgrounds and in classrooms, there’s always excited talk about who went to Walt Disney World and what they did each day-or minute. It has become almost a rite of passage to visit America’s most popular travel destination, and kids can be wonderful sources of information.

Every area and attraction of Walt Disney World is covered, with kids’ honest reactions and impressions included. There is a whole chapter devoted to each of the theme parks: Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Another chapter describes the rest of Walt Disney World, including Blizzard Beach, Typhoon Lagoon, Fort Wilderness, Downtown Disney, and dining spots with kid appeal.

The book is updated annually, and the 2009 edition features lots of new tips and attraction reviews from young “Disney Experts” around the world. We’ll tell kids how to catch “Wildcat fever” at the rollicking new show, “High School Musical 2-School’s Out!” And we’ll give young readers the inside scoop on the newest WDW attractions, including the thrilling Toy Story Mania!

3 Stars Useful book for the kids
The book gives our childrensomething to look at and offer their thoughts while the adults use the larger, more complete guides.

5 Stars Great Guide for Kids
This is a must-have Disney guide for kids.. It helps them make their own decisions and plans on what they want to see at WDW. The pictures are great too. The maps could be slightly bigger than they are… They could add some stickers and stuff for the kids to mark their favourites! :)
But overall.. a great book.
